Introduction
This document lists the frequently used commands for printing
portrait and landscape on HP LaserJet printers.
Portrait printer
commands
The following HP LaserJet printer commands will be useful
only for people using software applications that allow the use of
setup strings or embedded printer commands. Most software
applications control the printer for you.
NOTE: When using the setup strings on this page,
note the differences in these characters: l = lower case letter
"l"; 1 = numeric one; O = upper case letter "O"; and 0 =
numeric zero.

printer command reduces the space between the letters in the 16.67
pitch line printer font to give a 17.75 characters per inch
printout.
